Mumbai Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project: Six bidders participated in the process

Mumbai Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project: The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) opened technical bids for the construction and design of around 18 km of viaduct between Anand and Sabarmati including railway stations at Ahmedabad and Sabarmati for the bullet train corridor. NHSRCL, responsible for executing the country’s first bullet train project, said in a statement on Tuesday, March 23, that the bids were opened for the C7 package of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor. As part of the package, the alignment also comprises 31 crossing bridges including six steel truss bridges.

According to National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited, six bidders including, DBL-RBL-SAM India (JV), NCC-TPL-J Kumar HSR Consortium, Afcons Infrastructure Limited, IRCON – DINESHCHANDRA JV, Larsen and Toubro Limited, and GR Infra – Sadbhav (JV) participated in the process. The organisation said that after the evaluation of the technical bids, the financial bids of the successful bidders will be opened.
