Come winters and we are surrounded by ascorbic amlas. These tiny, light green berries are a potent package of antioxidants, chief of which is vitamin C. It is said that amla contains twenty times more vitamin C than oranges. Vitamin C could help fight disease-causing free radicals and rev up our immunity naturally. In these times, there is hardly anything that is more precious to us than our health and immunity – and it is never a bad idea to lean on local, seasonal foods for apt nutrition.
