Grandmothers Delivery Kitchen Famous Now After Funny YouTube Review Went Viral

A good review can do wonders for a restaurant’s business. This delivery kitchen run by a grandmother climbed up the heights of popularity charts after an online video reviewing its food went viral. What was so special about this particular review that made it stand out? Apart from being candid and detailed, the reviewer made it unique by choosing to set up his own table right outside the home-based delivery kitchen to eat the food hot and fresh. The funny video won people’s hearts and it soon went viral on YouTube.

Danny Malin, the food critic, decided to visit Grandma’s Kitchen run by Marion Love at her home in Charles Street, Farnworth, after seeing some great reviews on the kitchen’s Instagram and Facebook pages. He drove to the place and pre-ordered his food on the phone while he was 10 minutes away from the kitchen. He posted the video on the YouTube channel ‘Rate My Takeaway’ with the title ‘This Grandma in Bolton Cooked & Sold Me Breakfast from her HOUSE.’

Danny Malin ordered a full English breakfast along with 5 freshly baked cookies and a cup of coffee. He made himself comfortable on the road outside the kitchen on his portable table and chair and enjoyed his breakfast giving a detailed description about each and every element of his meal.

He admitted in the video that what he was doing was “weird” and reasoned “but it’s got some good reviews so it’s worth a try.” Then he took the viewers through the lavish English breakfast tray of bread toast, 2 eggs, tomatoes, beans, mushrooms, sausages and bacon. He really liked the bread that was “nice and crisp” paired with “perfectly-cooked eggs and soft beans”. Danny also loved the smoky bacon with a “crispy edge”. He was all praises for the soft, warm and filled homemade cookies.

The video has been viewed more than 1 million times so far with thousands of comments pouring in from amused viewers. One user wrote, “I watch a lot of videos on food, but this one hands down was one of the most enjoyable I’ve watched while another wrote “I love it, get ya table setup for business directly outside the house with a cameraman recording. I wonder if all the neighbours were watching from their windows!”
