The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Singh, who arrived at the Kisan Panchayat of the AAP in Meerut on Friday, has said that different political parties are holding their own panchayats, however, there is no competition among these panchayats.

Sanjay Singh said that everyone is together on the issue of farmers and he said, the more the panchayats, the more the matter will be highlighted.

On the completion of four years of the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh, the AAP leader said, “Uttar Pradesh is suffering in the last four years, the ministers and officers have filled their pockets while the people are on the roads. This is the reality of the Yogi Adityanath government for four years. In this government, the people of UP have faced corruption from the bottom to the top in the last four years. There is a bribe in the tehsil, bribe in the hospital, bribe in the police station, bribe has to be paid for the job as well. There is a lot of corruption inside all the schemes. Even during the Corona epidemic, corruption was done.”

The Rajya Sabha MP alleged that within four years, UP saw such incidents which did not happen in seventy-three years. Referring to the Bikru shootout and Hathras incident, Singh said, “UP has become number one in the case of crime. The youth did not get employment but a false video of employment was definitely made. There has been a lot of corruption in the Jal Jeevan Mission. I have papers in this matter and will disclose them soon.”

Regarding the loan waiver of the farmers, the AAP Rajya Sabha MP said, “The loan of two paise, nine rupees and three rupees was waived. The poverty of farmers was mocked in the name of loan waiver. The government is failing on every front in four years. Whenever the election comes, the public will answer it. I have been continuously raising the issues of farmers in Parliament.”

Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sanjay Singh said. “He had said that I am at a distance of a call but sadly, more than a month has passed but not a single call has been made to the farmers. The government should wake up from its sleep.”

On the issue of the process of privatisation, Sanjay Singh said that this will eliminate government jobs all over the country. “The government is selling railways, Coal India, airports, stadium, FCI, BPCL, LIC, banks, etc. If there is privatisation, then reservation will be completely destroyed. The upper caste people need not to be happy about this as the 10 percent reservations was there for upper class poor also, which too shall be finished. 35 lakh jobs will be eliminated with privatisation.
