It cannot be denied that one of our biggest challenges this year was building immunity. From kadha to juices and to green tea, what all did we not include in our diet just to keep the infections at bay. Now, with the sudden shift in season, we stand at a crucial juncture yet again. The nippy weather is definitely pleasant but it brings along the risk of seasonal ailments we are well too aware of (read: cold, cough, flu). Taking care of your diet during this phase could yield desired results; fortunately, the season comes with a bunch of yummy and healthy fruits that can make the drill easy.
Here Are 7 Winter Fruits For Immunity You Must Stock Up:
1. Guava
Crunchy, sweet and yummy, guavas are our personal favourite this season. They are loaded with vitamin C and a range of antioxidants that fight dangerous free radical activity and prevent cell damage. They are also high in fibres making it excellent for your heart and blood sugar level.

2. Pears
This delectable fruit has a light green, soft exterior and a white juicy and delicate flesh. Hit among both kids and adults alike, pears are good for your gut and are enriched with anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidants like vitamin E and C.
3. Oranges
A tremendous source of both vitamin C and calcium, citrus fruits like oranges could ward of risk of seasonal infections and manage symptoms of many chronic conditions. If you are a fan of a fresh glass of orange juice, this is perhaps a good time to start juicing.
4. Apples
An apple a day may be a good idea again this time of the year. Apples can strengthen immune system by reducing inflammation in your body. Rich in pectin fibre, vitamin C and K, apples are considered excellent for immunity building by many nutritionists.

5. Mosambi
Mosambi or sweet lime again comes from the citrus family of oranges and pomelos. Enriched with vitamin C, this yummy fruit can be juiced too. It is advised to drink the unstrained juice to make sure you do not lose out on essential fibres.
6. Pomegranate
Ruby red and sweet, pomegranate (or anaar) has protective benefits against free radicals. Moreover, it thins our blood which is good for our BP, heart, weight loss, and prevents skin damage.

7. Plum
