Share price of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited fell on Wednesday, March 10, after the company announced that it acquired Ramgarh New Transmission Limited (RNTL), the project SPV or special purpose vehicle to establish a transmission system strengthening scheme for the evacuation of power from solar energy zones in Rajasthan. According to a regulatory filing by the company to BSE, the transmission system comprises a new 400/220kV substation, 400kV DIC transmission lines, and an associated substation extension work in the state of Rajasthan.
On Wednesday, shares of Power Grid opened on the BSE at Rs 220.35, touching an intra day high of Rs 220.35, an intra day low of Rs 214.05, so far.
Shares of Power Grid were last trading 0.32 per cent lower at Rs 215.25 on the BSE. Meanwhile, Power Grid shares were trading 0.32 per cent lower at Rs 215.30. On the NSE, shares opened at Rs 218, touching an intra high of Rs 218.95, and an intra day low of Rs 214.
