Share Price of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) fell over five per cent on Wednesday, March 17, after the company declared a second interim dividend of Rs 5 equity share of face value Rs.10, each for the financial year 2020-21. On Wednesday, BPCL opened on the BSE at Rs 441.05, touching an intra day high of Rs 446.60 and an intra day low of Rs 430.15. According to a regulatory filing by the firm to BSE, the company’s board has fixed Saturday, March 27, 2021 as the record date to determine the eligibility of the shareholders to receive the interim dividend.
The interim dividend will be paid or specifically, the warrants in respect, will be posted on or before April 12, 2021. BPCL shares last traded 5.13 per cent lower at Rs 430.50 on the BSE.
