Banks To Remain Closed For Seven Days Between March 27 And April 4

The internet banking services will be open for customerson all bank holidays.

All public and private sector banks will remain closed between March 27 and April 4. Banking services will be shut for three consecutive days between March 27-March 29 on account of the fourth Saturday of the month and Holi festival. In between, banks will open only for two days, i.e., on March 30 and April 3.

On March 31, banks will be closed on account of the last day of the financial year. Here’s a list of bank of bank holidays for March 2021:

March 27: Banks will remain closed due to the fourth Saturday

March 29, 30: Banks will remain closed on these two days due to Holi celebrations.

Additionally, banks will be closed on April 1 due to year-end holiday. On April 2, banks will be shut due to Good Friday, and April 4 is a Sunday.

Internet banking services will be open for customers on all bank holidays. Meanwhile, the country observed a two-day bank strike between March 15-16 against the proposed privatisation of two public sector banks.
