Share of plastic pipe maker Astral Poly Technik rose as much as 5.36 per cent to hit an intraday high of Rs 2,331.85 after the company informed exchanges on fixing record date of bonus issue of shares. The company has fixed March 19 as the record date for ascertaining the eligibility of shareholders entitled for issuance of Bonus Equity Shares in the proportion of one Equity Share of 1 rupee each for every 3 existing equity shares.
Asrtral Poly Technik’s board had approved issuing bonus equity shares in the month of February.
In the last one year Astral Poly Technik has surged over 200 per cent to fresh record high of Rs 2,332, outperforming the Sensex which was up 0.35 per cent.
