Making plum cake is a traditional practice on the eve of Christmas so much that is now found in every bakery around the time. Plum cakes are a dense blend of sweet, bitter, sour and nutty flavours. It contains a mix of dried fruits including prunes, orange, grapes along with nuts like apricots and walnut that are infused in alcoholic beverages like rum, wine or brandy for days, or even months before the festival.
